I spoke to one of the EA staff and they couldn’t help me when my game wouldn’t launch after installing University Life (it was running previously with various EP’s just fine). I knew I had to patch the game but couldn’t do it through the Launcher and even the file for the manual patcher wouldn’t download (I left my computer on overnight to see if it was just a crazy big file!). This is my first Mac computer, so I literally have no idea what I’m doing! I just thought I’d leave you a note to let you know that if people follow these steps and have purchased their games through Origin, each one of them will need to be re-downloaded prior to being re-installed.
